Commissions

Thank you so much for your interest in my artwork and I am honored that you are considering commissioning me to create a custom piece of art for you! I will do my best to bring your vision to life!

Take some time to take a look at my style of fantasy artwork. Please don't commission me to do a portrait of your pet with fairy wings. I'm sure that Fluffy is the cutest ever, but it's just not what I do. I will be happy to create a fantasy creature in your likeness, but please remember that I am not a portrait artist, but rather a fantasy artist. I will usually have your art completed within 4 weeks, sometimes much sooner. If you need something by a certain time, please email me to find out what my schedule is ahead of time.

I prefer that you provide me with large pictures to work from because it is just too difficult to try and capture a person's likeness from a photo that is small. You can send these via email I do not need you to mail any original photos.

Prices will vary depending on size, complexity and mediums used. I currently work in colored pencils, watercolor, pastel chalk & airbrush paints or a mixture of these mediums. Following are my price guidelines and conditions.

$75 ~ 5 x 7
$150 ~ 8 x 10
$200 ~11 x 14
$300 ~12 x 16
$375 ~14 x 17

*These are starting prices for 1 character, simple background pictures. Complex backgrounds or additional characters will be extra.

I retain all copyright to the artwork and reserve the rights to sell prints of it. If you wish to obtain commercial rights to the art for a logo or other purposes; please email me as the costs will be higher.

I require 50% of the cost up front before I begin to work. I will then begin sketches for your commissioned piece. Changes can be made at this time until the sketches are completed to your satisfaction. If satisfactory sketches can not be produced, the agreement comes to an end at this point and your money is refunded, less a $50 fee to cover my time already invested.

Upon viewing sketches and your verbal approval, l begin the painting process and no more changes to design can be made. Once I have begun the process of inking and/or painting, no money is refundable. The rest of the payment is expected before your art is shipped to you. I accept payment via PayPal. Shipping and insurance is additional and not included in the listed prices. I retain the right to refuse a commission offer for any reason.
